The Best Tingling Creams For Your Love Button (Part 1)

One of the fun parts of curating the Bawdy Bookworms Boxes is finding the right sensual items for them. I only want to include items that I know will work–for most women. (Each person’s body reacts differently.)

I’ve seen many different creams, vibrators, and props during the 12 years I sold them at home parties. However, there’s always new-to-me and new products out. With most of them, I can discern with a quick glance if it’ll blow your mind. Some things, like creams, need some testing.

It’s a tough job, but I’m taking one for the team.

I ordered 6 different arousal creams and orgasm enhancers as contenders for future Bawdy Bookworms Boxes.  We haven’t had a clitoral sensitizing cream in a box yet. I think we’re long overdue. Have you ever tried one?

Why you should try an arousal cream

Arousal creams aren’t new to the sex toy market. They’ve been around for years, and for good reason. Most of them do what they claim: sensitize your clitoris so orgasms happen more easily–and sometimes more quickly.

While arousal for many women starts in our brains, a jumpstart never hurts. The active ingredient in most sensitizing balms can vary, but they’re all designed to make your clitoris tingle. Your love button has 8,000 nerve endings–twice as much as the head of penis. Sorry, guys.

The gel’s cooling or warming magic wakes up those nerves and increases blood flow to your lady bits. Increased blood flow means increased sensitivity. Extra sensitivity means—you guessed it–mind blowing pleasure.

(Let’s take a moment of silence to thank the inventor of these orgasm enhancers.)

How to find the best cream for your love button

The only way to find the best sensitizing cream for your body is through trial and error. Something that works for your best friend might not do anything for you. But when you find one that works–WHOA

But the fun part is trying them! What I don’t recommend is trying on more than one at a time. Whichever one you try, keep your vibrator handy because you’ll want to put it to good use.

I’ll be back for Part 2 of the series to share which arousal creams I tested and the results.
